- Some coworkers are working on application that could theoretically
- live well into the next century, perhaps even outliving the Unix
- standard "seconds since 1/1/70" representation.

- I downloaded the description of the latest ISO time standard, but
- it doesn't seem to say anything about internal representation of
- date/time, only display representation.

- So: is there an emerging standard for date/time representation,
- and if so where is it?
