  3. Some coworkers are working on application that could theoretically
  4. live well into the next century, perhaps even outliving the Unix
  5. standard "seconds since 1/1/70" representation.
  6.  
  7. I downloaded the description of the latest ISO time standard, but
  8. it doesn't seem to say anything about internal representation of
  9. date/time, only display representation.
  10.  
  11. So: is there an emerging standard for date/time representation,
  12. and if so where is it?
  13.
